South Boston National team for putting on an amazing performance which caused the game to go into double digit extra innings.

2011 Girls Softball Winners & Scholarship
The 2nd Annual Richard "Dick" Finnigan girl’s
softball winning team was Dorchester. The scholarship
winner for 2011 was Dick’s granddaughter Kathleen
Finnigan. She is recipient of $1,000 at the tournament
during the Pacitti Cup tournament. Richard Finnigan,
a former three-term Dorchester State Representative
was well known in Savin Hill for his support of youth
sports and the St. William's parish band. He passed
away on March 31, 2009.
To honor the memory of Richard Pacitti by providing opportunities
to achieve personal, scholastic and athletic growth to the youth of Dorchester and participating towns.
Our goal is to mentor and teach young people to embrace the concept of community and responsibility.
